Hey hoes!
While I was answering questions for my ten thousand views milestone post,
I was thinking about all the hate mail I've been getting.
I mean, it's not a whole lot. Most of the feedback I get is still positive,
but there are some very immature e-mails in there as well.
Obviously I can't please everyone and I've come to terms with that at a very early age.
But somehow, still, I wish we would all live in a united world where it wouldn't matter what
your sexuality is or how many people you've shared it with.
But hey, that's probably not gonna happen any time soon.
SO SCREW THEM. If you have feelings of shame, if you think that the amount of sexual
partners you've had or even how you dress, suddenly makes you less of a person and not worth
of respect from others or yourself - YOU ARE WRONG. You deserve to be treated like a human being.
Even if your legs open on a daily schedule and you happen to break a lot of hearts in the process. ;)
So far however I have only talked about the crap that us girls get from trying to live
our youths and enjoy our tight little bodies to the max, but what about guys?
It's a very common stereotype that guys are somehow cooler than girls when they score.
But, there are a few things that I've heard guys talk about as negative by-products of
sleeping around a lot.
The girls they happen to actually like, more than often think the guy can't be taken seriously. Ouch.
Guys are also often clueless of STD's and think that if the girl is on the pill or whatever,
that there is no way the girl could ever have a sexually transmittable disease.
Because we girls are so honest and innocent. Ouch!
And sometimes, even the guys feel like shit after waking up with a stranger.
And I actually think that we girls are a lot worse than guys when it comes to slut shaming.
We need to stop. It's just another form of bullying and we shouldn't accept it.
So it's not just the guys that need to cut us some slack. We all need to.
Girls, we have to stop giving other other girls shit for living their lives.
We have to stop thinking that guys can't change when they meet the right person or
that they'll cheat when an opportunity rises.
But in the end it all comes down to this: We all need to start respecting ourselves more.
If we do that, the words can't hurt us so badly. Because even if a majority of us changes,
there will always be people trying to bring us down for different reasons.
So next time when someone gets you down or you feel badly about yourself for losing control and
jumping some hottie's bones without marrying them first, just say FUCK IT.
You are awesome and deserve good things. And sex can be really really good. So enjoy and...
FUCK IT ALL.
